“I look nothing like it, Pipsqueak,” Leona growled, eyes narrowing. “What exactly are those burrito-lookin’ creatures?”
“Fascinating…” Lilia breathed as he caught the one that looked like him. “Maleficia has told me about these creatures before.”
“What are they?” Jack asked as the one that looked like Epel cuddled up next to him.
“They’re called ‘Tsums’. Strange, round creatures from another world that’s parallel to ours. Each Tsum represents a student here.”

Leona looked away from Vil, ears curling against his head. “I never said you were an ungrateful brat.”
Vil swallowed. “Good. Because I’m not.”
“So. All you want in ’sincerity’, huh? No gifts, no poems, no candygrams, just…” Leona waved his hand almost too carelessly. “Something… sincere.”
Vil nodded. “That’s all I want,” He chuckled as he turned to look out into the greenhouse. “With this school, I doubt I’ll get it.”
Leona’s ear flicked as he stared up at the branches of the tree he was resting under. “You…” His hand balled into a fist, digging into the hard bark of the tree as he prayed Vil didn’t notice. “You deserve sincerity.”
