English assignment! this is the first work of the fandom. that is a crime. I may try fixing that.
We were supposed to write "missing" scenes surrounding a character we thought should get more attention/development. I wanted to focus on the white kid, because contrasting to the main, adult, PoC protagonists, he's the youngest in the book and raised on the opposite side, having an entirely different perspective. I alsoooo picked him because I knew i'd be able to portray him accurately.Series

Robert appears somewhat flabbergasted. “Wha- Huh?” He says, dumbly.
“Your teeth.” Sonar gestures. “They’re sharp. Aren’t you supposed to be a bird?”

Summary
The figure… It's Robert. It has to be.
Waterboy tries to step back, but he stumbles on the wet floor, thudding into the shipping container beside him. Robert goes still.
His head jerks up, eyes rolling wildly to make contact. Bloodshot. He's crouched on the floor of the warehouse like an animal, low and cornered. Blood is splattered over his face, and as he lifts his head, Waterboy can tell it's streaked down his chin like he must have sunk his teeth into something and held on. When he bares his teeth, they've been licked clean.
He shakily, slowly, like the movement’s might provoke an attack, fumbles for his radio. “Guys? Uh- found- I. I Robert found- no, that's not. I found- uhm.”
(Warning changed to Mature because of the violence. Just to be safe, honestly.)
