Summary
Eddie's got an itch that needs to be scratched, a fantasy that's been tormenting him for weeks now.
He wants Buck to top him.
The only problem is saying the words, asking for what he wants, when Eddie has been raised his entire life to never voice his sexual desires, especially not his gay sexual desires.
Fortunately, a weekend away in Palm Springs might be the perfect opportunity to try.

Summary
“Buck.” Athena says flatly.
Buck holds out the wiggling bundle towards her. A tiny pair of triangular ears poke out of the little blanket, followed by a furry grey head embedded with big blue eyes. Athena stares at the cat. The cat stares back.
“Meow,” the cat tells her, in an almost exasperated tone that feels familiar in a way that she can’t put her finger on.
Buck grins at her, all breathless relief. “It’s Bobby!”
Or: Buck attempts to bring Bobby back to life. It has mixed results.

Summary
Hawthorn
Crataegus
"In Ancient Greek mythology, Hymenaios, god of the wedding ceremony, carried a hawthorn--thought to be sacred--in a flaming torch. Ancient Greek brides used the blossoms in their bouquets... leading to hawthorn's associations with hope in love." ("Floriography," Roux)
In a world where everyone coughs up a flower the day they're born, baby blooms celebrate life, while Hanahaki disease foretells death. Whether it's a secret or a prophecy, this is how the phenomena influences people, relationships, and maybe even love itself, within the lives of the 118.
