" '𝗌 𝗅𝗂𝗄𝖾. . 𝗂'𝗏𝖾 𝖻𝖾𝖾𝗇 𝗁𝖾𝗋𝖾 𝖻𝖾𝖿𝗈𝗋𝖾. ."
The teenage boy mumbled, his words slurring. He couldn't help it. The feeling of her fingers running through his hair made him sink deeper in her lap. He felt her finger play with one of his curls which in turn made a shiver go down his spine. It's been a while since someone has played with his hair.
"𝗂 𝗀𝖾𝗍 𝗐𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝗆𝖾𝖺𝗇, 𝗎𝗇𝗂𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗌𝖾."
". . .𝗂 𝖽𝗈𝗇'𝗍 𝗐𝖺𝗇𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗍𝗈 𝖾𝗇𝖽, 𝗍𝗈 𝖻𝖾 𝗁𝗈𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗍."
He felt her hand pause in his hair. He cracked one eye, his eye watching her examine the ocean. He wanted to know what was going through that pretty head of hers, to examine it just as she was examining the ocean. She let a hum before turning her beautiful— oh. . . those beautiful ( e/c ) colored eyes. No gem, 𝗇𝗈𝗋 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝖽𝗌, can compare to her orbs.
Though, they seemed dimmer than usual. She smiled, which looked more like a grimace, and placed her hand on his cheek. Her thumb rubbing it softly;
". .𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗒 𝗀𝗈𝗈𝖽 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖼𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗌 𝗍𝗈 𝖺𝗇 𝖾𝗇𝖽, 𝗎𝗇𝗂𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗌𝖾."

Summary
You stared at the screen, contemplating rather you should call him or not. Giving in, you pressed on the contact and the phone ranged twice before a raspy voice came through the speaker.
"...hello? kid, you there?"
You stayed quiet and stared at your screen before replying. The monster chuckled softly, "heh. for a second there, I thought your butt called me on accident. hehe."
You called sans in the middle of the night because you were feeling lonely. But, in the end, you were left with heartache.
