Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –

This really is one of those perfect soulmate/soulmark fics. The characters are nuanced and vivid, the plot is intricate and gripping, and the world is rich and delightful (or terrible, at times). Harry and Draco's relationship develops in a really satisfying way, not limited to their discovering they are soulmates/have a soulmark match (which actually causes its own problems), alongside their own personal growth as they go through the years, learning and experiencing new things. I really appreciate how complicated the story is, how complex and non-binary people and situations are. Even though this isn't complete yet, it's definitely worth picking up.
