Kendal should give up, really, she shouldn’t be doing this at all. She’d been telling herself she was going to stop, that this was the last time, for the last month and a half. Yet no matter how much vitriol she blustered, sniped, left without saying goodbye, she always came back. She shuddered to think what the rest of the locker room would think, how Wren would look at her if she knew.

Summary
It’s fine, Zaria decides after the Royal Rumble. It’s fine if Sol moves on and up. It’s fine if Sol leaves her. It’s fine if Sol doesn’t love her.
What’s not fine, is if Sol forgets her. What’s not fine, is if Sol feels nothing towards her at all.
If Zaria cannot have Sol’s love, then she will take her hatred, seize it with bloodied hands and split knuckles. At least, then, she might be remembered.

Summary
Zaria would never call Sol selfish. Her career has been on a meteoric rise for over a year, and she deserves every accolade she’s received in that time. So, when Sol looks at her, something nervous and vulnerable in her gaze, and asks Zaria if she's being selfish, if she’s being greedy, of course Zaria will always say 'no, of course not.'
Here’s the thing- Zaria is also a liar.Or; Zaria self-destructs, Sol gets a wakeup call, and feelings get revealed.
