Summary
“Why does it say ‘2017’?”
“What do you mean?” Whizzer asks.
“Here,” the man says, pointing to the clock on Whizzer’s home screen. “It says, ‘March 15, 2017’. Why would it say that? Why would it say ‘2017’?”
“Because that’s the year?” Whizzer says, raising an eyebrow. Okay. Nevermind finding someone normal. This dude is insane. But the man is looking at Whizzer the same way that Whizzer is looking at the man. With weariness, with confusion, with heavy judgement.
“It’s 1978.”

Summary
But it was difficult to be annoyed at Eugene. Even when the other boy kept pushing him away.
Pugsley was used to it by now. He wasn't dumb, he knew that Eugene disliked him. Pretending he didn't hear his greetings in the morning, his goodnights in the evening. The constant excuses, avoiding Pugsley's efforts at friendship at all costs. He was treated like an outcast. An outcast in a school full of outcasts.

Pugsley angst because there isn't enough on this silly little website and I need more so I wrote it myself. Also had the idea of Eugene having an asthma attack and Pugsley comforting/helping him so I mixed the two together. Enjoy!

Summary
Feliciano had stared at it for hours.
He still had it. Tucked in an old cookbook.
He blinked back to the present, sauce bubbling on the stove.
“Chef, you’re burning the tomato!” someone cried.
“I’M HAVING A MEMORY,” Feliciano wailed. “STIR IT FOR LOVE!”
He plated the ravioli with tender precision. Drizzled basil oil. Sprinkled shaved parmesan like a poet.
Then added a single basil leaf, shaped like a heart.
Because duh.
He handed it off to the servers with a breathless flourish. “Deliver this to the Captain’s quarters. Gently. Like it’s made of my soul.”
One of the stewards blinked. “You want me to say anything?”
Feliciano thought for a moment. Then smiled with all his teeth.
