Summary
Dystopian AU. The world's population fell dangerously low after a virus destroyed most of mankind's reproductive abilities. To combat the shrinking population, the Federation of Northern American States requires all children to be educated at government-run schools until the child presents. Alpha and beta children are sent to the military, omegas are sent to the breeding facilities.
Steve and Bucky are separated at 14 and Steve will stop at nothing to get back to Bucky.

Bucky loved being a father, but he loved watching Steve be a father even more. Steve was the mate Bucky could only have dreamt of as a young omega. Steve was hands-on with Theo, completely involved in the baby's development and care. Bucky had heard of the alphas who left the childrearing to their beta and omega mates, but Steve was right there with Bucky.
Bucky and Steve get new additions to their family and Bucky learns how to knit.

“Is my arm on?” Bucky rasped and tried to turn his head to look down at his shoulder. He saw bandages wrapped around his shoulder where the carbon alloy of the arm met his skin. The arm itself was a slick grey, designed to look like metal plating. It lay on the bed, unmoving and heavy. He stared in awe, he had a left arm again.Bucky finally gets his new arm and learns how to face his past head-on. With Steve's help, of course.

Izuku took a deep breath and nodded. He stood silent, waiting for Shouto to say something else. But when there was nothing but silence once more, Izuku turned his gaze away from the brush in their joined hands to meet his Lord Husband’s eyes.
“Y-yes?” Izuku stammered out in response. He had to swallow when his voice cracked, silently berating himself for still sounding so unsure. His cheeks heated up as he cleared his throat. “Yes?”
