Summary
J'onn J'onzz, the last Martian, lies captive in the pod of an alien ship as it makes planetfall. He is spent. Eaten. A husk of a thing. But they have made the smallest of errors, and if nothing else, he will try to be a nuisance before he dies. He will try to warn this world of the horror that comes for them. And, if he has the chance, he will try to fight for it.

Usually, when faced with one of Harry's non sequiturs, Kim would intentionally force his face to remain neutral, carefully hiding either confusion or a grin.
This time however, he opened his mouth to speak, then stopped himself before a single word left his lips. His eyebrows creased in a look of intense concentration, while his gaze went right through Harry, then snapped back into focus. Before the lieutenant was able to reign in his expression again, something flickered over his face.
HALF-LIGHT - Fear.

And there she is. His human. With a rat hanging out of her mouth.
“Wanda,” Vision tries for a scold. “We’ve talked about this.”
“Mmrgh,” replies Wanda. Reluctantly, she opens her mouth and lets the poor thing thud to the ground between her feet.
