"Today's the day you're supposed to meet your soulmate!!"
A beat passed as Apollo considered the possibility. The weatherman said there would be a storm today, which clearly hasn’t happened yet, but the weatherman’s been wrong before. His bike ride went the exact same way, too, even though the construction on the sidewalk of his block was supposed to be over by today, supposedly. Mr. Wright wasn’t in the agency at the moment, even though he said he’d be around more often after his "mission".
Come to think of it… today was suspiciously the same as yesterday.
Well, there was one way to prove it.
Taking out his phone, Apollo tapped on the black screen, hoping- expecting?- it to say today’s date.
But the letters and words that glared back at him with almost a harsh fury didn’t say any such thing.
Today was October 8th.
or: what if Apollo wasn't assigned to the Misham case and never met Klavier at all beforehand? (or a "day loops over and over until you talk to your soulmate" klapollo au)

To protect the Prince from these attacks, the King Regent summoned the noblest knight from an allied country to act as the Prince's guard until the day the Prince would become King.
