The uneasiness grew. "Arthur relies on you." No response. Mordred swallowed and tried again. "He was nearly mad with worry when he realized... when..." There was no delicate way to say when he forgot you and left you behind. "He went out looking for you. We all did. We didn't come home for weeks."
His words faded into silence. Then Emrys said, softly, "Home." He sounded as though he was tasting the shape of it. "Home, yes. Not my home, though. Not anymore."
