Unlike the three other films in the series Cohabitation #1 never entered the cannon of film studies, in part because it never circulated beyond select circles, and in other point because when it did surface it was derided as mere pornography. It is of course, pornographic, but does that make it mere pornography? Or like The Navidson Record does there exist a second movie underneath the skin of the original?
