I hate being blind, all these cats doubt me!” He remembered his skirmish with Owlpaw, humiliation afterwards that both of his siblings had to help him, the overwhelmed feeling that had swooped around him - and the clashing of cats’ claws and jumbled feelings everywhere. “I couldn’t even defeat Owlpaw!”

The doorbell rings.
Techno debates pretending he’s dead so that he doesn’t have to answer the door, but then the banging starts and Techno has to debate whether or not getting his brand new door broken down is worth it. Techno sighs as the heavy, heavy knocking begins to slam his back against the door. He heaves himself off the floor and prepares himself for the subsequent yelling he’s going to get from whatever crazy person has decided to bust down his door at 7PM on a Sunday. He creaks the door open.
“Hello.”
That... is a small child.
(Techno's first day of living in his first apartment as he enters college after a gap year is of a young child, and that young child's still-pretty-young parents.)

Summary
University leaves no room for sickness. It's either drag yourself to class half-dead or fail. And Technoblade has always been a high achiever.
Not soon enough, he can collapse into bed and pass into unconsciousness. A bone-deep chill claws deep into his flesh, and his skull throbs with a headache, but at least he can sleep now.
Wilbur has to barge in, with his strange sixth sense, always knowing whenever Technoblade is in trouble. But even bothering Technoblade, the company of his pseudo-brother makes the world and his flu a lot easier to bear. Warming his heart even as they trade sharp jabs and remarks. Or maybe that's the fever.
