Summary
She would break it off. She would do what Celine wanted in shape, if not in spirit.
Before that, she’d make sure Zoey and Mira had somewhere to go that wasn’t a strip of concrete behind a laundromat.
Somewhere they could live as humans, not ghosts on a sidewalk.
They could curse her, file her away as one more strange chapter in a long, ugly story she’d only ever be a small part of.
But they’d be warm. Fed. Off the streets for good.
They’d forget her in time. She’d remember them always.
OR
The Homeless AU no one asked for. Featuring obsessive Rumi and two homeless girls who she might need more than they ever needed her.

Summary
“Just—” Rumi takes a deep breath. “Just act as if I wasn’t here. Explore your relationship the way you would if you were alone. I mean—obviously close the door if you want to get, um, more intimate, but… I—I don’t want to freak out every day thinking I’m a liability to you guys. I don’t want to worry about you not fully living this relationship the way you want just because I’m around. I want you to be free. Is that—Does that make any sense?”
“I… think so?” -

Summary
The client hadn’t really requested anything at all; their emails had been almost overly polite, if not jarringly formal, and had selected only the most vanilla options on the questionnaire she provided. Certainly a far cry from the standard practices of her usual clientele, but this one had paid upfront and picked this expensive hotel, and Mira’s fees are dear enough on their own that she had been coloured intrigued.
Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.
The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.
In which Mira is a professional, Rumi is socially inept, and Zoey is also there. Let's hope nobody catches feelings.

Summary
Rumi scoffs, turning her head to the side to make sure no one is looking at them before she jerks her hand out, grabbing the string of his hoodie, tugging him forward hard enough to nearly choke him.
“I’m trying—can you quit?—to help you!” Jinu hisses out, his voice strained and tight. “You helped me!”
“I didn’t want your help!” Rumi shoots back, tightening her grasp on the strings. “I never asked you to do this!”
Jinu sputters, his hands coming up to slap at her own. “You needed my help! You still do!”
“I do not!” Rumi protests. “You’re just—you’re too arrogant! You don’t know how to stay out of other people’s business! You thrive off of making my life as awful as you can!”
“You make it easy!” Jinu practically growls. This time, Rumi does let the strings go, grinning as Jinu yelps, nearly toppling over in his chair. It’s pretty much a miracle he manages to grab onto the table in time before he goes flying, and the furious scowl she gets is more than enough of a reward. “And they like this?"
(or, jinu gets his soul back early, and makes it his life goal to wingman for rumi who very much so does Not Want Him To Do That)
