This comic put me in a coma. It hit me with the kind of emotional devastation that left me staring out towards the horizon and contemplating my entire existence.
A master class in exploring grief, the incredibly complex emotions we experience when we're forced to confront it, and how to convey these emotions palpably. Incredible structure, pacing, and the kind of heartbreaking payoff that is so rarely this thoroughly earned.
My brother from another motherland has delivered what will remain one of my favorite pieces of media, period, and I will be coming back to this every time I need a good cry (often!)

You'll wake up in the middle of the night, drenched in cold sweat and screaming uncontrollably because it isn't enough for this fic to follow you in your waking hours, it also stalks your dreams. You would sell your soul to experience this fic for the first time again, knowing full well the consequences of that action will haunt you for the rest of your life.
