A click. A grin. A flash. Darkness. Nothing.
When Jason woke up, it wasn’t with a startled flinch and gasp of air like he’d come to expect. He didn’t sit up, drenched in sweat and cough as his breath returned to him. He just continued lying there, almost as if he had fallen asleep easily, at perfect peace, and had awoken in much the same state.
He looked dully in front of him and then slowly, arduously, turned over onto his other side and tried to will himself back to sleep.

Reeling from the events of Death of the Family, the Batman family is splintered. As Jason Todd finally resurfaces, the family is thrown into a chaotic situation they are utterly unprepared for, much farther away than they could have imagined.
