I received no answer.

Yoo Joonghyuk had obviously spent a vast majority of his life under the voyeuristic eyes of the constellations — his appearance wouldn’t make the slightest difference to him now. What did I think I would hear? I felt like an idiot for expecting answers from the almost mute man. The most he could do this deep under his melancholy was obey me like a dumb dog. In front of me, Yoo Joonghyuk simply continued to yank at his dirty hair. Whether he did it to untangle his hair or pull his fingers away, I didn’t know.
“Stop that,” I scolded. Hair still tangled between crooked fingers, Yoo Joonghyuk ceased all his movements.
Away from prying eyes, in the quiet hours of dawn, Kim Dokja takes pity on his protagonist; unbeknownst to him, Yoo Joonghyuk makes up his mind to search for a better world.

Summary
After failing to grasp the Star from the 46th scenario, Yoo Joonghyuk finds a different way to tie Kim Dokja to his side: a sub-scenario with a failure penalty of temporarily binding the participating incarnations' hands together. The penalty will only last a few days, but even this much is satisfying, especially after the years that Kim Dokja was gone.
Kim Dokja is just sick of everyone trying to babysit him, even if it's a bastard with a pretty face like Yoo Joonghyuk.
