Summary
Story is set in canon universe but early into the days of the protocol, where they're still figuring out about mirror Earth and may not have seen their own (personal) doubles yet. Sova gets startled by seeing himself fighting for the wrong cause, and it shakes him. Cypher comes to annoy him, to make it worse.
Or, in actuality: Cypher knows how to shake Sova out of it, without being too honest, emotional, or real.

Summary
Somewhere along the way you went from being a Knight of Favonius to being a common visitor of Albedo's study in Dragonspine. After many cold, long nights of studying and research, you developed feelings for him. A being of mystery, intelligent beyond belief, wonderfully capable, and capable of teasing... looking back at it, you're honestly surprised at how long you lasted before catching feelings. But you can only take so much, can only wear his lab coat so many times before finding comfort in his scent. Can only meet his gaze so many times before finding yourself lost in thought. Brushing fingers as you pass things back and forth... it's all a bit much. And you should give up, probably, I mean... Albedo is busy, and... well. A creation, rather than a human. But... you also don't really feel the need to get rid of your feelings. Because you're okay with this... and don't expect more. But what if the opportunity for more revealed itself...

Extremely beautiful and canon compliant character study of Cypher. Short but so absolutely stunning and covers so much of who Cypher is and his inner conflicts.

Summary
A heavy blizzard traps Sova and Cypher inside the abandoned Svalbard Kingdom facility after they were sent to exterminate the rogue radivore.
Injured with no power in the building and no signal to the headquarters, the two men are stuck together until help arrives.
It wasn't as bad as Sova thought it would be.

Summary
He’s spoken to Cypher multiple times before about the nature of the agent’s work, how he wont specify his methods, how the ones he has shared have been… distasteful, to say the least. Cypher never seemed to take their discussions seriously, much to Sova’s displeasure. He would always laugh, purr out some answer along the lines of 'I do what it takes,' and sometimes throw in 'my friend' for added insult.
And now here he is, parked across Sova typing away, ensuring that the first thing the hunter sees upon waking is a reminder that the man he hates is the very man who saved his life. That those same hands Sova had fallen into are now, he can only assume, picking apart another person’s life.*****
After saving Sova’s life on a mission, Cypher begins to act like he and the hunter are friends. Sova, to nobody’s surprise, does not feel the same.

Absolutely beautifully written Cypher/Sova fic that evokes so much emotion and thought. The trauma and violence of the canon (and the character's past) is beautifully explored and two deeply scarred individuals that have coped and survived in their own ways find a way to move forward with the help of each other. Author is extremely talented and awes me and as a reader makes me desire more, and as a writer inspires me to continue to create.
