She doesn’t want to leave him or Luz alone for a minute. The blank, haunted expressions they wear makes her want to wrap them up, tightly, in a blanket and make them both some hot cocoa. (And she’d make some for King, obviously, so he wouldn’t feel left out or jealous.)
If Hunter didn’t look like he was ready to climb out a window, she’d probably do just that.

The World Meeting is just wrapping up, and despite being the host country, America has yet to show his face. A few of his worried friends follow Canada to find him in Arlington National Cemetery, where he is crying over the grave of his dead brother, the South. There's just one thing... the South is standing right next to him while he does. The grave is empty.

A mysterious book is dropped in the lap of one of the Nations, and after some extraneous orders of business, a select few Nations are gathered in New York City once more to investigate.
