Apollo knew from the start that this would never (could never) happen. Not really. But still, he greedily took what he could. They both did. Because, while he knew it could never happen for real, every touch and every laugh made leaving harder every night. Easier to come back.
Until the moment comes. They are both in too deep, and they both know it. Percy is the only one brave enough, strong enough. To bring it crashing down around them.

“Yes, I speak Russian,” he snapped, defensive and angry. He knew that it had been a mistake to even try to be friendly with Rozanov. “Why? Do I not look Russian to you?” He scoffed.
“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
“Go fuck yourself.”

Despite an inauspicious start, when Russia’s Ilya Rozanov learns that Canada’s Shane Hollander is fluent in Russian at their first World Junior Championships tournament, it changes everything and sets them on a different course. Instead of being branded as rivals from the very beginning, Ilya and Shane start off as friends.

Summary

In the Neck, two band managers find that a tour going badly is the least of their problems. Across the Narrow Sea, a pair of siblings have to face that it's time to go home.
Half of them are meant to be dead or were never even known to exist. That doesn't stop them from finding each other, falling in love, and getting their hands dirty in the process.

Take over the Crime Alley drug trade, convince Black Mask to break the clown out of Arkham, murder his Replacement and force Batman to finally avenge him? ...he's still working on it.
His plans are delayed when the homeless kids he's sheltering are joined by a fearful boy with hand-shaped bruises around his neck. Alvin Draper may not want to say who did it, but Red Hood isn't about to let anyone who beats up children go unpunished.
