Summary
This question is what finally breaks something in Shane and the tears that he has been fighting back begin to spill over. Why is it that these two people that he barely even knows are able to show him more compassion than his own teammate. They have no obligation to him but they are taking time they should be using to celebrate with their own team to try and help Shane. The tears pick up and start racing down his cheeks. Shane brings a hand up to his mouth trying to quiet the sobs that are escaping his lips.
He vaguely hears Troy say, “Nice going Hazy you made him cry!” Only for Wyatt to quickly respond in a sharp tone.
