Louis' always been the tease in his relationships, always been sly and coy and made others work for him, but this… Harry’s feather-light fingers trailing down Louis' torso and popping the top button of his jeans as he pulls Louis' psyche to shreds, it’s making Louis think he might not be the best as his own game.
And that might not be such a terrible thing right now.

"I wanna talk about you, Hazza. Are you alright?" Harry doesn't answer right away, just chews on lips as Louis watches on patiently. "You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to, peach. I just need to know you’re okay." He's understandably quiet again, but Louis lets the silence sit, not wanting to rush Harry to spill if he can get there on his own.
There's not too much of a history behind Harry and Louis, no rhyme or reason pointing to why it's fallen on him to talk to Harry about his feelings, but there's also no tension between them, so why shouldn't it? They've ran in the same friend group for a few years now, seeing each other three to four times a week at various clubs, bars, and parties - that's enough time to warrant Louis sitting in Harry's living room for the first time, and talking this out. At this point, he considers Harry someone he’s close to, a friend, and seeing him like this is worrisome.
"I think I’m bad at sex."

“My window faces his living room, and he doesn’t close his curtains, okay?” Liam defends himself. It doesn’t have the desired effect of shutting Louis up, just gives him more questions.
“And you can’t close yours?”
That makes Liam pause. As much as he wants to say he’d considered that, he hadn’t. But now that he is, he can’t see himself doing it. Call him a glutton for punishment, but watching Zayn in his tight boxers is definitely worth occasionally seeing him on top of another man.
“I like to wake up with the sun,” he says, aware that it’s a weak excuse. “You know that.”
Louis sees right through him, grinning slowly at the shame staining Liam’s face. “You’re a filthy pervert.”

"I'm aware,” Liam laughs.
"Just making sure."

All of his brothers in the hall shout "Yes" at once. And then Michael's icon turns grey in the corner.
Liam yells, "Get back to base!" And Harry starts running.
He doesn't even make it five steps when The Rogue steps in front of him and decapitates him before Harry realizes what's happening. The moment he hits the ground, a tinny voice is ringing out, "Rest in fucking peace, prick," and Harry's eyes widen in shock.
He turns to Niall, jaw dropped and asks in bewilderment, "Did you hear that?"
"Don't fucking talk to me, Haz," Niall snaps. He stand ups and approaches the door to his room. "All you had to do was stay on the base."

In the distance, a wolf howls, and Shawn chuckles. With the cool temperature and the trees losing leaves just outside of his window, it all fits. It’s their first autumn together, but it’s nice. Peaceful.
That is, until Niall sits up straight entirely too quickly. He’s nearly naked, only a pair of boxers hugging his hips, and it’s only just above freezing outside, but he’s staring ahead like none of this bothers him. “It’s a full moon.”
“Are you a werewolf now too?” Shawn asks sarcastically, making sure to keep his voice quiet so as to not seem too rude.
It doesn’t matter in the end. Niall pays him no mind. “I must go.”

“Alright. I’ll give you my discount then.” He reaches out and Niall passes him his card. “It’ll be five pounds.” Niall can’t help but smile at the other lad’s kindness. It was good decision to keep coming back, he thinks.
Now he just has to find a recipe for apple cider.
