    “Alright, Pro Hero Deku," the doctor, a kind-faced woman with calming blue eyes, addressed him. "What seems to be the trouble?"

    "It's, uh," Izuku stammered, "the suppressants. They seem to be…less effective lately."

    The doctor nodded, taking his vitals with practiced ease. "I see. When was your last dose?"

    "This morning," Izuku replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

    The doctor chuckled, amusement crinkling the corners of her eyes. "Ah, a hero's life, full of challenges. Perhaps your quirk is burning through the suppressants faster than usual."

    Izuku's eyes widened. "One for All can do that?"

    "It seems so," the doctor confirmed. "Given your quirk's nature, a higher dosage might be necessary. However, for long-term management, we might need to consider injections."

    OR: Izuku has a problem. His suppressants have been failing and his heat is getting in the way of his hero work. Good thing his hero partner, Hero Dynamight is there to help him through it. A very thorough help, though.

    Mitsuki smirked, clearly pleased. "Good. Then it’s settled. Three months. And if you survive without killing each other, we’ll plan the merging."

    Both boys groaned in unison, much to the amusement of their parents.

    The words tore through him, but he welcomed them. Drowned in them. Until the weight of humiliation crushed him whole, leaving nothing but a trembling, ruined mess in the dark.
