Summary
Late at night, half-crazy from a lack of sleep, he has this epiphany that it’s not Sapnap’s fault at all - or Karl’s, for that matter. It all comes back to George, and how he’s the one that Dream usually goes for when he’s feeling bitchy, sad, or annoyed at something. George is always there to listen to him complain and sometimes give him a much-needed reality check, but George is also someone that is shit at communication and prefers to show his feelings through actions.
So Dream starts an experiment.
Dream complains about ripping his favourite jeans on a Monday. George makes fun of him, but the day after they go thrifting and George finds him an almost exact pair of pants along with a very comfy sweater that’s 60% off. On Thursday, he bemoans the lack of blueberry muffins in the mini-mart near their apartment, and two days later he sees the owner put some on display, freshly baked by his daughter-in-law that’s visiting and just happens to love muffins.
By the end of the week, Dream is convinced George is involved. Somehow.
Or: George is magic, but it takes Dream a while until he pieces everything together.
