Stay Gold had a fan following due to her refusal to give up after placing among top three of multiple G1 Races, but never gaining her first crown. As a Silver and Bronze Collector, Stay Gold could not truly live up to her name, but kept running despite several thinking that her time as a prime umamusume has passed. Her trainer guides and prepares her for her final race, hoping to achieve every uma's final racing achievement - 有終の美を飾る (Yūshūnobi o Kazaru - which means to end on a high note, or in this case in horse racing, to end their racing career with a win)
