Bakugou and Midoriya had always been inseparable, since before quirks, before UA, before life got complicated. Through scraped knees, broken dreams, and every awkward middle school haircut, they’d been constants in each other’s lives. Even when Midoriya had no quirk and the world expected them to drift apart, Bakugou stayed. Not everyone understood their bond, but it didn’t matter. They weren’t exactly trying to be understood.
