Summary
“Time,” Wind whispered, eyes wide. “pick me up, I’m scared.”
“I know, son.” Time said and scooped him up in one fluid motion. “I am too.”
“He’s just standing there.” Legend hugged Time’s side.
“Menacingly.” Hyrule agreed, huddled near his predecessor.
“Is there anything we can do?” Twilight asked with a hint of hopelessness in his voice.
“I don’t think there’s a cure for this.” Sky disagreed, eyes haunted, huddled in a ball.
“Four are you okay?” Wild inquired.
Four, hands to his ears cried out. “Do you think I’m okay? I’m suffering EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!”
In front of them was a truly ghastly sight. Warriors staring at a rubix cube and smiling. Now you might ask, and rather reasonably, why this group of divinely appointed heroes were laid low by such a sight. The answer is simple.
“Why! It’s unsolved! Can he not feel the screaming in his soul? The burning desire to make something broken whole again?” Legend cried desperately.

Summary
Warriors was pretty certain the Four Sword carried more potential than Four used it for - it just required someone with the right level of self-discipline. Surely it wouldn't hurt to give it a test while no one else was around, right? If his selves didn't turn out to be as useful as he expected, he'd merge back together, and no one would ever have to know.
It doesn't go as planned.

Summary
Warriors should've paid more attention to his symptoms. Perhaps if he had, he wouldn't be stuck in a rundown inn with Legend of all people. If he'd just admitted to Time that he wasn't feeling well, then the others wouldn't be stuck fighting a pack of infected monsters with hardly any supplies.
And maybe if Legend wasn't being so irritatingly stubborn, then Warriors wouldn't have to feel guilty about being the reason the others wouldn't be receiving those much needed supplies.

It’s said matter-of-factly, not overconfidently, and Time hates that Wild knows that it’s not his first, second or even third reset.

Legend gets one step outside of the door before Twilight grabs him by the collar and hauls him back against him. There’s a brief fracturing outline of black and orange magic and Twilight turns back around to face the group, a pink rabbit in a little red waistcoat clutched to his chest. A beat of stunned silence before,
“LEGEND TURNED INTO A RABBIT!” wails Wind.
Legend looks at himself, looks at them, runs some calculation in his head, then joins in the wailing, “TWILIGHT CAN TURN PEOPLE INTO RABBITS!”
Wind and Wild scream in horror, Hyrule screams in delight. Wars stabs himself with his sewing needle then curls over his mending wheezing. Four stares dumfounded for a moment, then joins in the growing laughter.

“I—” Twilight stops himself, the words caught in his throat. Time squints his good eye in the dark to catch sight of Twilight sitting up from his bedroll. The fire had long since been extinguished. Time would have revived it if had it not been such a warm night.
Time gives a small smile, trusting Twilight to be able to see him with his considerably better night vision. “What is it? You can tell me.”
Hesitation hangs in the air between them until Twilight speaks, sounding very small for such a strong man. “I had a nightmare.”

“I need to try this on a broken bone,” Hyrule says, near breathlessly. “Whenever I heal my own bones they come out kinda wonky.”
"They what,” Warriors says, smile turning strained. Hyrule takes one of the man’s hands and presses it to his tunic, feeling the slightly misshapen ribs underneath that Hyrule hadn’t really known how to fix. He’d figured out the concept of setting bones pretty early on - through messy trial and error - but ribs were confusing in that regard. “Ooh, Nayru.”
“It’s a miracle that you’re alive,” Twilight informs him.
“Thank you,” Hyrule chirps.
Fairy magic isn’t meant to be used by Hylians, even if Hyrule’s somehow gotten the grasp of it. He’s also become the Chain’s healer and is unhappy about it. Warriors steps in to help.
