Summary
The shaking and squealing metal didn’t scare him…not really.
It wasn’t the sound of the elevator groaning like a dying machine or the violent lurch that sent his stomach into his throat and his hands snapping out for support. It wasn’t even the way his chest heaved, lungs refusing to cooperate or how the edges of his vision began tunnelling as a sharp ringing filled his ears.
No.What terrified him was the fact that he wasn’t alone in this death trap.
Both his bosses were in here. Two of the three people who kept the ER from falling apart, the ones who made sure patients didn’t riot and nurses didn’t quit mid-shift.
And now they were going to die- all because they followed stupid little him into this cursed elevator.
He couldn’t pinpoint when his head hit the metal railing, only that there was a flash of white, a crack and then something warm and slick trailing down his temple. He couldn’t remember when the world went black, like someone had pressed a blindfold over his eyes.
He did remember the voices, though.Bookmarked by ZillaMarie

Summary
Sanji couldn’t look at him for long.
Not like this.
He turned away, shoulders stiff, walking a few paces toward the tree line—back rigid, fists clenched, as if the act of holding himself together physically could stop everything else from unraveling.
But his voice, when it finally came, was hoarse.
“…You weren’t supposed to see that.”
Sanji hated it. He'll say it over and over again till the day he dies. He hated using his hands to fight. So why when he is left with no choice to pick up a sword is he harassed by Zoro?

Summary
The look in the swordsman’s eyes was new, something Sanji would almost label ‘fear’ if he were a more foolish man. The attempt was brief, though, Zoro’s grip loosening, eyes rolling back as that last hit finally dragged him into the dark.
Sanji had almost accepted that would be the last time they saw each other, too.
Almost.

Summary
“You may go, and take him with you. On one condition: once you take your first step away from this dais, until the moment you set foot on the deck of your ship, you may not look at him. Nor may you touch him. He will walk behind you, and you will trust that he is there. If you lay hand or eye on him, he returns to me, and there will be no more bargaining.”
An enemy captain sets conditions on Sanji's return to the crew. Zoro takes his duties as first mate seriously.
