Papyrus doesn't know why. They're on the surface, everyone is safe and they all have a brand new life together. But Frisk has been sitting in the corner during the day and waking up screaming in the middle of the night. They are very, very upset, and Papyrus wants to help. He just doesn't know how.
But he does know how someone helped him when he was young, and maybe, just maybe, he can do the same thing himself.
Maybe he can be as great a big brother as his own was to him.

He turned you blue just for a second, just to make a point. His magic was a familiar weight around your soul, grounding you to your seat. It always made you feel safe.
