Maybe Danny should come back later. Jason looked like he was setting up some kind of crime lair, and that was the last thing Danny wanted to get caught up in. Whether Jason seemed to mostly target criminals or not, it was still dangerous.

Tim Drake gets zapped to another universe just after retrieving Bruce from the timestream and finds out it's a world where Jason never died and the version of himself that exists in that world never got involved with the Bats. From there, he makes a few dubious plans and does all he can to protect a family that isn't his.

It's the middle of the Chuunin Exams. Team Seven isn't doing so hot this shortly after their encounter with Orochimaru. Pink hair lays scattered over the battlefield. Sakura, bruised and bloody, finds her and her team's fate in the hands of her fellow Konoha genin, when Sasuke finally stirs.
Danny wakes up without a clue as to where he is or how he came to be there. But, he quickly comes to a couple of realizations: #1 There's company. #2 He is inexplicably angry. And #3...
