"But..." Wilbur hesitated, his voice dropping to a whisper. "The Crowfather's there."
"Prime, you're not seriously scared of that bird guy, are you? He's just a vigilante."
Wilbur bristled at the teasing tone. "The matron said he takes naughty kids to his nest and pecks their eyes out. I had nightmares about him."

Tommy thought this whole situation just kept getting weirder. „You broke in somewhere, just to get sandwiches? And I thought I was broke.“
„I'm not broke.“ Obviously indignant about the conclusion, the man glared at him.
„Says the guy stealing sandwiches.“ Tommy couldn't get rid of the grin that spread across his face.
„For the last time, kid. I didn't steal anything“ He started sounding really annoyed and for a second Tommy was thinking whether or not it was a good idea to rile him up that much. Then he remembered who he was.
„I'm not a child, and those are definitely stolen sandwiches.“
„I didn't steal them because they're mine and I was actually planning on sharing with you but if you want to throw a tantrum, fine, your loss.“ The stranger took the paper bag and turned towards the fire escape.
In a world full of superpowers, Tommy is trying his best to stay off the radar of heroes and villains alike. However when a young musician asked for his help, he thought the man was harmless enough. Even if he wanted to break into his own office, claiming he was locked out by his landlord.

Technoblade is part of MAFIAS. No, not that mafia. Magical Artifact Investigations and Active Solutions.
As an intern, his job is pretty simple: holding on to a variety of supernatural items that can't fall into unsafe hands. This does not combine well with being a sleep-deprived college student.
When Techno finds himself tied up with both the fae realm and the underworld at the same time, he will have no choice but to plead his case for freedom. And maybe try to do that without losing his mind at the very eager fae and goddess who both think they have some sort of claim on him.

Summary
Tommy is a vigilante. He plans to steal a Wilbur, who is the most annoying villain in L'Manberg.
Problem: he is not aware that Wilbur has powers that makes him aware of said plans, or that he is, in fact, kidnapping a shapeshifting Technoblade, who's protected by both Wilbur and Crowfather, the #1 hero.
Stupid things ensue.

Summary
Virgil just wanted to go on his planned summer research trip to do an anthropological study in 2005 America. However, when he is taken off course by an unknown enemy, he ends up stranded in the summer of 2018 with no way to get back the the 44rd century. Luckily, 2018 happens to be where a certain illegal time agency is based, and he might have an in with one of its agents.
This is the intermission for the story Folds in Paper. It takes place between Folds in Paper Book 1 and Book 2. It also takes place after the first 5 chapter of “Messages for a Hacker” which are side stories in the universe.
