Summary
For months, Momo's kept the tightest lid on her feelings about Okarun, terrified of screwing up the best friendship she's ever had. After Momo gets upset about Okarun's group project, though, Vamola convinces her to finally admit that she's in love with the boy. Honestly, it's a huge relief - Momo finds that she's thrilled to finally put it all in words, even if it's just to Vamola.
The only problem is… somebody overheard them.

Occult-kun hadn't said or tried anything, even though he'd had ample opportunity. He'd stared at her, yeah, but she'd been inches away from him in a weird-as-hell situation she'd personally manufactured. And he'd looked at her face, anyway.
He didn't seem disgusted by her, either. He didn't even seem annoyed.

Summary
They could talk about the most boring, mundane topics, and Ken would be fascinated, totally engaged. It was Momo's voice, hypnotic and bursting with personality - her smile, her sparkling rosewood pink eyes. And it was the silence, too, when he was speaking. The way she watched him with rapt attention, like there could be nothing else worth noticing in the entire universe.
Okarun's warmth washed over her in gentle waves. Whenever they just talked like this, dropped all the teasing and silly antics, time stretched in the most pleasant way; his sweet voice was the loveliest panacea, soothing her manic energy into a trusting stupor as she hung on every thoughtfully chosen word.

Regret after regret and shame and guilt wash over him, viscous, poisonous waves of it - he's going to become a yokai himself, because there's too much pain, too much unfinished business - he can't leave, he can't die, he has to protect her, he has to love her, no matter what it costs ----
Ken dies fighting to protect Momo. When Turbo Granny brings him back, Momo is horrified.

Summary
Haruki ran a tight ship as owner of Moe Moe Kikoho. You had to, at a maid cafe, to make sure the girls weren't being taken advantage of. That meant ensuring the rules were followed, including the one about workers' boyfriends not being allowed to hang around the cafe all shift.
But well… the quiet otaku tucked away in the corner booth while the newest girl, Momo, works her shift…
He seems polite enough. She supposes he can stay.
After all, Momo insists he's not her boyfriend.

Summary
With a quivering breath, Ken closed his eyes and began to slowly rock his form with hers to the beat of the band behind them. For those last few moments before he was to begin, he reveled in those glorious sounds and prayed to whomever was listening that this wouldn't be the last time he'd be on this stage if it meant feeling like this.
The tap of her fingers on his shoulder counted him in and with one final touch, there was no going back.
