Summary
Foul demons, treacherous fey, and stranger monsters threaten humanity’s very survival if they can all avoid a Titan’s maw. When myths and legends ravaged their world, heroes rose to defend them… and lost. Driven to the brink of extinction, humanity holds fast in its final foothold against all the forces arrayed against it.
Just when all seemed lost, when the barriers were failing, when a Titan was approaching, a hero saved them all. He strengthened the barriers, turned back the Titan, and discovered ways to make all heroes mightier. Through this Savior’s efforts, humanity had turned the tide in the war.
But Mari isn’t that hero.
She had been proud to have one of the Savior’s most prominent abilities. With it, she’s mastered the art of war and slayed hordes of monsters, giving her a childhood saga without equal. Alas, heroes grow up and many of Mari’s rivals have been given all the powers that made her special. Summary
This fanfic is inspired by Revenant, A Cloudy Path, and Playing with Lego’s. I have a particular soft spot for the Cybran faction of Supreme commander, but unlike in these inspirations, Taylor will have a regular Queen Administrator power. Instead of having canon Supreme Commander sized units, they will be scaled down. The ACU is 3m (9.82ft) tall and all the other units are the same relative size. As much as I like all the fictions that inspire this attempt, they all essentially end once Taylor really gets going and has the full army available. So, I am going about it slightly differently and hope you enjoy the ride.
This fic assumes you have read Worm. Any scenes that are too similar to Worm get summarized briefly.
