“He loved to sing,” Jinu’s mother says softly, running her fingers over the photograph in her hands. “Even started a little band with his friends.”
Her voice trembles, eyes lingering on the boy frozen in time — smiling, vibrant, gone too soon.
“At least… a part of him is still here.”
She looks up.
Across from her, Rumi’s hand moves unconsciously to the left side of her chest, where his heart now beats inside her.
The heart of the boy who died... and saved her life.

“And you,” he leans in, lips brushing her ear, “are curious.”
She swallows hard.

"Not against a psycho murderer. I don’t like that Wookyung guy. Don’t hang out with him."
