This is a series about my commander Roza, a prickly sylvari necromancer, and his journey as he heals from his trauma and grows as a person. Comments and kudos always welcome, no matter the date!
A note or two: Earlier works are a little incongruous with later ones, but there's nothing contradictory. If you just want to read "then, now, and forevermore" it works well by itself regardless :) I also pop in once a year or so to randomly edit some bits, so there may be discrepancies in writing quality throughout! Despite the challenges and discrimination thrown his way, he's a kind soul, with a softness for animals and a penchant for helping people. He might have formed a crush on a certain wizard during an act of selflessness, but that's neither here nor there—at least, until his house gets stepped on and he changes his subclass to Ghost Heart.

“I’m leaving.” Merlin says, because this situation already cost him his Duolingo streak, and he’s too tired to deal with Arthur when the food Gaius is serving him looks like it belongs on a list of war crimes committed by the Canadian soldiers.
“Where to?” His mentor asks, and Merlin shrugs, before going to his room and packing his bag.
“India. Gaius, I have decided I don’t give a damn, especially not when having to eat that bland food. I’ll be back in three months, make sure Arthur doesn’t die when I’m out.”
“Merlin!” And maybe, if he was younger and didn’t travel back to the past last month, he would’ve actually cared about the ‘eyebrow of disapproval’.
Or, a 1500yo Merlin gets zapped to the past during his vacation to Cuba. You’d think he’s happy to see Arthur again. He’s not.

“Sired?” Gwaine interrupted “This Emrys fellow is going around siring dragons? How exactly is that happening? Sex with other dragons?” He asked and despite the situation, Merlin flushed. The man in question blinked, looking equally baffled by the question. From the corner of his eye, Merlin could see Arthur pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Uh…I actually don’t know.”
“But you’re Emrys,” Merlin reminded the imposter with a sigh “You don’t remember siring any dragons?”
“I said it was an off day!” The man complained, trying to cross his arms despite being upside down. Merlin took a long breath. Lancelot had already walked away, but that did nothing to hide his howling laughter.
