Wilson sighed deeply. “Where are you? It better be a ditch or something. Are you drunk right now? You sound sober enough to drive yourself home.”
“I’m in the hospital parking lot.”
A long moment of silence passed. Well, it would have been silent, but House heard Wilson shuffling around. Hopefully getting his ass out of bed and getting back to work. “House, I’m tired.”

“How are you dealing with their mothering, Harry?” he asks.
Ron opens and closes his mouth for a minute, groping for an excuse. Eventually, Ron says, “He’s just so small, Nev.”
“Hey,” Harry says. “I’m seventeen. I’m an adult.”
Ron shakes his head at Neville. “My best friend is an infant.”
A curse regresses Harry to his seventeen year old self, physically and mentally. He doesn’t recognise this strange peaceful wizarding world, but there are two people he does recognise: Ron and Hermione. Based off this tumblr post.

Well— to be clear, he didn’t decide to run away. He hadn’t been given much of a choice, really. But Uncle Vernon had been mad— madder than he’d ever been before. He’d gotten a knife from the kitchen counter, was waving the thing around like a maniac, and for a terrible moment, Harry thought, he’s going to kill me, isn’t he?
That’s when it happened. The lights flickered for half a second, then exploded into a shower of glass. Aunt Petunia shrieked and pulled Dudley underneath her, though her bony frame failed to shield him any. Uncle Vernon let out a long, horrible bellow. Harry could see the knife shining as it caught a faint glimmer of light.
He ducked and ran. Uncle Vernon leapt to catch him. He missed by half an inch.
(In another life, that half an inch made all the difference. In that life, Harry spent another five years locked in that cupboard, and another lifetime stilling at loud voices and flinching at outreached hands.)
