Dick embraces his father at the mention of Jack’s late father. As much as he usually attempts to disprove such notions, Dick can tell the care for the man Jack has. As he lets go, Dick nods solemnly.

Instead of billionaire philanthropist, Bruce Wayne, adopting the recently orphaned acrobat, Dick Grayson, another billionaire is there the night the Flying Grayson's fell.
But this billionaire’s night job poses a risk to his son. So, the reasonable thing to do is hire his local maybe-mercenary friend to protect him.
