When Hudson first reads the scripts, he cries. He cryptically texts a friend that he just scored an awesome part, then refuses to elaborate. He calls his girlfriend just to say he loves her. He’s, truly, a goddamn mess. He doesn’t think it’s possible for him to be more of a mess.
Then, he meets Connor and rapidly has to reevaluate the ceiling for how insane he can feel.

You say I'm sorry in a voice like that, with a face like that, in the cold outside a restaurant while I'm wearing your sweater and your cologne is in my lungs, and you think that constitutes having done something about the thing you can't name.
