"There was something else I was going to ask you," Aziraphale continued, unabashed. "Ah… How to put it?" He tapped his hand on his thigh for a moment, and then apparently found inspiration. "Ah! When you're…" Crowley made the mistake of making eye contact with him, and Aziraphale gave him another outrageous wink. "Dining out… What cutlery do you prefer to use?"
"I'm sorry?" Crowley said pleasantly, trying his best not to cause anything in the dining room to catch aflame in his frustration.
Aziraphale gave him a reproachful stare, as if Crowley were being very stupid. "When you're eating, Crowley. Do you favour the… The knife?" Aziraphale actually glanced conspicuously at his own crotch, and Crowley considered leaving the dining room via the nearest window. "Or the spoon?" Another raised eyebrow. "Or even, let's say, a fork?"
"What the fuck is the fork in this situation?" Crowley hissed through gritted teeth.

Aziraphale mentions that he'd like to have sex with Crowley. Crowley is completely taken-aback, and very conflicted, and very interested. Aziraphale is also trying to kill him by using elaborate food metaphors to explain the whole subject, which is not helping in the slightest.

“So this is the famous Alpha Centauri you wanted to go to. And it’s two stars.”
“It’s a star system, actually. But generally you can only see the two.” Crowley keeps talking like he’s reading from a book. “Those two are a binary star. That’s two separate stars that share a barycentre and orbit around it. One single gravitational unit.”
Aziraphale feels a tug in his chest. Crowley’s tone is detached, matter-of-factly, and it does not fool him one bit. He turns back slowly, with the same grace he’s used throughout history not to scare particularly spooky horses.

Almost five thousand years ago in ancient Mesopotamia, Aziraphale and Crowley (or rather, Crawley) manage to get themselves mixed up in a series of events that would later be called The Epic of Gilgamesh. To complete his Heaven-sent mission, and civilize a wild man named Enkidu, Aziraphale must escort Crawley on a long journey into the wilderness. And maybe also introduce Crawley to dining out and human food. At the same time, to complete his Hell-sent mission and civilize the same wild man, Crawley has to be escorted by Aziraphale on a long journey into the wilderness. And also maybe to have some strong new feelings that the demon had never felt before...
Of course, mistakes were made...
This is for everyone who wanted more adventures of Aziraphale and Crowley throughout time and history, and especially those who want more adventures that cross into mythology.
