Summary
To say that Phoenix Wright was having a bad day would be an understatement. His best friend has been kidnapped, he's being threatened to get a "not guilty" verdict for a client whose innocence is questionable, and Franziska Von Karma is, of course, the prosecutor. But the cherry on top is when he unwillingly reunites with someone he thought he'd never see again: Edgeworth, back from the dead.
And, for some reason, with two young teenagers in tow.
Or: An AU where Ace Attorney Investigations 1 and 2 take place sometime towards the end of Edgeworth's "Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth chooses death" sabbatical.

Summary
The ship lies half-constructed in the bay, recently vacated of construction workers for the evening. Late evening. This project has fostered a bewildering obsession in people. None of them get angry about working overtime. They even volunteer for it, without questioning their superiors about pay. It's unnerving.
(This fic is readable even if you're only familiar with one of the two canons! Or potentially neither, though that's untested territory.)

Summary

Gerard knows that he's a coward, and there's no way he can handle this responsibility. But when Gerard finally lands a job as an event planner for a group that seems to be secretly raising money for the war effort, Gerard realizes that maybe there's a way he can help after all. Maybe he'll never win Elody's love back or break his curse, but he CAN help these children. He'll just have to go about it his own way.
