Born into the most crime infested city in the first world, orphaned at age eight, and shuffled through five abusive foster families by age fourteen. It would be six if she hadn't settled after being taken in by someone who didn't compel her to sleep with a knife under her pillow. Yes, Mr Doyle passes her sky high-standards by merely inflicting crippling financial abuse and neglect.
This is to say, Riley desperately needed money since the government checks intended for her go directly to Doyle's alcohol addiction. So when the Condiment King covertly offers her a job while working her shitty retail job at Bat Burger, she can hardly refuse. A couple hundred bucks, just to steal a few boxes of hot sauce? What could go wrong!

Jason huffs, smoke escaping his nostrils. ¨That´s not what I meant.¨
¨What did you mean?¨ Eugene asks. Meanwhile, Jason stubs out the cigarette. Peering up, he smiles a genuine smile, one of relief.
