Lityerses yanked the tray out and set it on the counter. They stared down at what could only be described as eldritch horrors disguised as cookies. The dough had spread into an unholy, bubbling mass, the color somewhere between burnt charcoal and the essence of despair.
“…Are they supposed to be moving?” Apollo whispered.
One of the cookies twitched.
