The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.

Louis consceeds with his thoughts, adjusting in his seat and staring at the subway map above the train door. The flashbacks to when Legosi ate his leg don’t fill him with terror like they used to. They’re mild day dreams, if that. He knows Legosi, knows what it means for them, what it meant at the time. In some ways his body doesn’t, his body remembers differently. His body screams and aches. Run. Get away. Run.
Interspecies love is suffering, Haru echos somewhere in his chest. Without thinking too hard about it he pulls out his phone.
Or the story of Louis realizing that, yes, he is truly fucked.

A drunken night with Louis, Haru and Juno escalates into a bet without Legosi there to stop them. Haru and Juno declare that with 20k and six weeks they could plan Louis's dream wedding up to and including picking his spouse. Louis writes them a cheque and challenges them to prove it.
Legosi just wishes they could all act normal for once, but he's on thin ice with a comment like that!

This is an AU inspired by a tweet from the awesome doopstory. "Legosi is a Zutuber who shows off his bugs and terrariums and other such things. Louis finds him randomly looking for calming vids to fall asleep to and they work like a charm. After months of watching and listening, Louis has grown attached even if he doesn't want to admit it. Legosi's roomies convince him to do a face reveal at 500 subs, which he agrees to, and one day it's reached Louis doesn't have any hopes going in, but his heart is still pounding. The video starts out like normal, with just Legosi's hands in view, but then he turns the camera around and that is how Louis falls hopelessly in love."

Harry sits at his desk, leaning back in his chair, scrutinizing Jean behind a pair of reading glasses he should use but doesn’t because it makes him look like a bino. It brings out every detail of Jean’s face - the spots of facial hair he missed when shaving that morning, the craters in his skin from a childhood illness, maybe even the sweat collecting under his collar, not used to wearing so many layers.
