Summary
Hana drops out of her mech to move back and put distance between her and the enemy. And that’s the moment Hanzo drops down from the roof without thought.
It’s not particularly elegant. Hardly the cold precise archer the team have pinned him to be. No, this is a man throwing his body into the teeth of something much larger because he will not let a child be struck down in front of him.

Summary
The station was literally just a single platform, and they were the only two people who got off the train. Suguru’s parents were stood waiting for them and the moment Suguru was off the train they both smiled wide, genuine smiles.
Satoru watched as Suguru jogged over to tackle his mother in a hug. His father ruffled his hair and put an arm around his shoulders.
Suguru’s mother peered around Suguru and noticed Satoru still stood at the edge of the platform. The train had already pulled away and honestly he felt like dropping down onto the tracks to hide. Maybe he could sneak away?
This was a bad, bad idea, he realized. He shouldn’t have come. The pit in his stomach that had appeared while they were on the train instantly gaped open into a canyon under her kind eyes.
But it was too late now.
-----------------
After the dust settles on the Star Plasma mission, and after Suguru is coaxed back from the brink, he invites Satoru to join him at his parents' house that summer.
Satoru is quick to agree, but the longer he is there the more the cracks begin to show. Maybe this was a bad idea.Bookmarked by Wallsbark
