Summary
Dazai unfolds his origami crane, smooths out the napkin, and begins folding something new. He’s wearing a sour expression, and his movements are far more aggressive than what’s required for origami. It doesn’t take Ultra Deduction to figure out what’s up with him, and that knowledge only makes Ranpo’s stomach twist painfully.
It doesn’t matter, really. It shouldn’t matter. It should be a non-issue—so much of a non-issue that Ranpo doesn’t even think twice about it. But they’ve never had a very effective brain-to-mouth filter, and so they can’t stop themself from grumbling, “I can tell you’re jealous.”
