Summary
For once in the entire history of Hawkins, Indiana, the people not only noticed the strange phenomena happening around them, but they actually started to do something about it. After the multiple graves were found desecrated and emptied, bodies of missing children found with suspicious bite marks on their necks, Hawkins finally acknowledged that there was something bad going on.
Their conclusions: graverobbers, kidnappers and sick, satanic murderers.
In reality, it was vampires.Hawkins enforced a city-wide curfew mandate that required that no one should be out past dark, which to Mike’s dismay, included the arcade closing when the sun was still shining.
That wouldn't be a big deal if it weren’t for the fact that he would burn alive in the sun.
Will doesn’t hear the end of his complaints.So, what does Will do? He practices his magic, and cranes his neck over legends, myths, artifacts and the intransitabile books to ever be written to find a enchantment that could allow Mike to not burn alive for the duration of time he would be at the arcade, playing dig-dug.
Without the inhibition of being human, Mike lets go of all that held him back, and Will began testing the waters even more.

The party reunites to take Vecna on one last time, but when Vecna starts altering Will’s mind at a last attempt at power, things take a dark turn. Summary
Sending Varian in to distract their target isn’t ideal, but someone has to keep him occupied while Hugo searches his room, and the duke made his interest pretty clear at dinner last night.
Hugo’s fine with that. Hugo’s very good at what he does, and so focused on the task at hand, and completely unbothered by the thought of Varian hanging out with a handsome guy who's probably feeding him fancy little desserts and talking about how rich he is while Hugo crawls around upstairs looking for loose floorboards and secret drawers.
