"Dude, quit squirming!" Scar's laugh starts as a deep, bright rumble in the pit of his stomach, soaring from his throat to punch the air in short, ribboned strokes, each a brilliant star between them. The air here is warm, dazed, an illuminated snow globe— except the globe is his tree, and the snow drifts in downy feathers outside it, forming an intricate latticework of frostbitten fingers that crawl up the sides of his windows.
They’d retreated here an hour ago— once their impromptu snowball fight with Doc had transcended from three hermits to thirteen— all shivers and chattering teeth, drenched to the bone. Now, with the fire stoked, sweaters both discarded and exchanged, neither one of them can ignore how the bedraggled wreck of Grian’s feathers are in desperate need of preening.
"You're doing this on purpose!" Grian's retort is tart, but it lacks true bite, curling high as a silver wisp of smoke. "Sto— stop it, Scar, stop trying to tickle me—!"

OK so this is litterally so good and i love it SO much!!! the way that just EVERYTHING is described really paints beautiful pictures in your head.
the words used really add to the imagry and the sugary sweetness of this domestic fic. the way their relationship is described, and just how in character yhe dialouge is, its all jsut so amazing and wonderful!!! this is definetlry a 10/10 no god a 12/10!!! i just love this sweet sweet tooth rotting fic ^_^

Summary
Tim's dad is dead, killed by a boomerang to the chest, and Tim is an orphan now. He knows Bruce would adopt him if needed but he couldn't possibly impose himself on the Wayne's more than he already has. It's okay though, because he has a plan for this, he just needs someone to play the role of his estranged "Uncle Eddie".
Except... the guy he hires is weirdly concerned about his well being and Tim can't figure out why.
Meanwhile, Jason Todd is forced to reevaluate his plans for his debut as Red Hood, because, as it turns out, his replacement is a suicidal idiot who can't be trusted to stay out of trouble.
OR
Tim Drake fails to recognize Jason Todd, back from the dead, and hires him to be his Uncle Eddie to avoid getting adopted by Batman. Somehow this ruins everyone's plans.

OKAY! I absolutely loved this more than anything. Like holy batcrap the emotions, the bonding, and like all the dialouge.
This fic is SO well written and its just wonderful seeing an au like this where all my favorite guys basically get to be a big happy family (of course thats not entirely what happens, but we got there in the end)
And oh my god did i love not only Jason's characterisation (a real highlight i love when jason is like this) but also Bruce's specifically was TOP NOTCH like i dont think ive seen many better Bruces.
anyways all that to say, this fic is spectacular and a total 10/10 read <3
