    The short skeleton refuses to let you go because you'd only find danger outside the Snowdin village. He loathed himself for poisoning your drink in order to make you weak and sick so that you can't leave the safety of the town. It was a horrible thing to do, but this way you would stay with him and Papyrus.

    He'd keep you safe and happy.
