Summary
Many things are different and many are the same as Harry begins his fifth year at Hogwarts.
Here, living with Dursleys that aren't just neglectful but outright abusive made Harry unable to withstand more than a few weeks of Trelawney's "predictions" back in his third year. Instead, he took Ancient Runes, and uncovered that he had a prodigious knack for runic magic, which opened the door to the darkest of rituals and the magic of mind and soul. A year later, Harry uncovered something horrible within himself - a parasite.
So, when Voldemort sends him dreams of corridors and doors, Harry sends him pieces of hell in return.

Summary
The plan was insane.
No the whole idea was insane.
If Harry manages to escape this situation unscathed, he is going to kill Ron. It was all the other boy's idea.
Well, yes ok, it hadn’t really been an idea, more a joke than anything. A random half thought, thrown out absentmindedly into stunned silence. Stupid enough to receive an exasperated sigh from Hermione and a chiding slap from Ginny. After a beat of silence, awkward laughter and a hasty ‘just a joke’ from Ron, it had been forgotten.
But Harry hadn’t forgotten...
...and the worst thing? The most insane thing of all?
It worked.

Summary
Though his mess of hair had gone completely grey in recent years, there could be no denying it perfectly resembled James and Harry’s own. After a short eternity, the man finally lowered the wand he’d instinctively lifted. “Well. This is a surprise. I thought the first time I caught you sneaking someone in here, it would be Sirius. Or perhaps a girlfriend.”
“Dad,” James groaned. “Not the time.”
“Quite right,” his father murmured, still staring at Harry, who gradually straightened up his battle-ready stance. “I take it you must be our mysterious relative from the future.”

Summary
“Not Harry, not Harry, please not Harry!”
“Stand aside, you silly girl… stand aside, now”.
And Lily Potter stepped aside.
Voldemort stared at her.
“... Is this some sort of trick?” he asked softly.
“No". Her voice was flat, lifeless. “You already killed James... If you let me live, then you can have Harry”.
Voldemort’s lip curled - not in amusement, but disgust. His own mother had died for him. Pathetic, yes, sentimental and foolish - but she had chosen to die so that he could live. Lily Potter wasn’t even choosing to care. Surely the child of prophecy deserved a better mother than this! Even he could give the boy to a better family to be raised right!
Voldemort slowly reached down and picked up the child.
He was still staring at him. He was still oddly silent. His eyes were still the colour of the Killing curse and brimming with power.
Yes, Voldemort decided, that was exactly what he’d do.
"You belong to me now" he whispered.
And with a crack like thunder, he turned on the spot, vanishing into the night.Or, the one where Harry Potter is raised by the Lestranges and it goes more or less how you would expect.
