Summary
Tommy was not born as a man, or a child, but as a weapon of war.
"I'm sorry, sir, could you repeat that order?" He finds himself with his shoulders drawn tight. "I believe I have misheard."
"The Prince of The North is a threat, which must be eliminated at all costs. You are to do so."
Tommy is sent on a mission that only spells his own death. With no hope out of it, he finds himself becoming the rumored North Prince's personal Knight. If only killing him were that easy too.

"Will you be coming to the festival?”
Tommy paused, it sparked a memory, packed in a crowd watching a man dressed in green and gold throw a burst of flowers into the air. He turned back to the man.
“Why?”
“Well you must be the head acolyte if you are the only one, you must represent your god of still water yes?”
Tommy stared at him, he had never gone before, didn’t track the years to know when five had passed.
“Maybe, I will ask.” he decided before turning away, he sank under the murky water before the man could say anymore.
He returned a few hours later. The man was gone along with his things, Tommy sent a quiet prayer for his safe travel on his way to the pools. He settled his offerings in the water before joining them, the gem was already goneBookmarked by Twtsy

The supervillain snorted. “Okay, but actually.”
Tommy shrugged, concentrating on the task at hand. “Fire away, big man.”
“What is your ability? I’ve seen you use it before to fix things, but you never explain it. Is it just like, glass manipulation? Or can you just… fix things?”
Tommy blinked. “I’ll be honest, I wasn’t entirely expecting that.”

Summary
There is red. Red polluting the strings like a faint poison, enough so that most of the strings Dream could see was a mix of green to brown. But the red all branched off from–
Tommy.
The red is the brightest behind him, its glow matching the strength of a regular green string Dream could make before the crater incident happened. And the final piece of the puzzle finally clicked into place in his brain.
For the first time, Dream feels fear. Genuine fear of a little, bratty kid who was supposed to be nothing but a simple plaything for him.
Because Tommy wasn’t kidnapped.
He ran away.
And the red strings belonged to him.

Or, after Dream meets Tommy in exile and threatens to kill him over and over again, Tommy decides he’s had enough. From the beginning, he was always destined to lose, to suffer, to fall after playing hero. That was what the script told him to.
And he was fucking tired of following it.
